My name is Randy Rodriguez and I am a practicing physician assistant. When I was applying to PA school the information I had available as a pre PA offered more questions than answers. Finding clear, straightforward resources to improve my eligibility and application were not readily available. Fortunately, I figured out how to be successful on my own. To this end my goal is to help pre PAs improve their chances by sharing what I have learned from trial and error. My experiences and lessons translated into further successes in PA school as evidenced by 7/8 outstanding clinical evaluations and 2 job offers as a student. I passed my boards exam 11 days after graduating, scoring above average compared to other first time test takers. In practice, I quickly formed a loyal, highly satisfied panel of patients and was offered a promotion to pilot a new project to improve patient health care metrics which was successful.
